Learning,but how?
Not much time was necessary to come over the very fact,that in Budapest there is no school,which would receive them. But we were lucky as the teacher of Bátorka came to ushenceforward in the future as well for a year more.
But after a while she could not undertake their teaching,as she could teach only such children,who had spent a long time in hospital. I thought I might also teach them. I started tolook for somebody and I was successful in having found a foundation school.. Therefore the children became private students. They should have been taken to school for sitting forexams only As I also loved learning,and was especially fond of reading,the 1st year was not difficult. In the second year I had already felt that it lays s charge on me to teach andcare about them. I should have looked for sombody who could help us.

A girl friend of mine was living in the next district. Éva was an especially person, sensitive and an intelligent one./Not much longer did she die as Andráska in cancer/. She had veryseriously studied the Holy Writ and she spoke excellent English. She had translated many things for us. She liked mathematics and all the other subjects as well,which were taught atschool. She undertook the role of the helper. She was the first friend of Andráska. Éva had always taught by having absolved the lessons and afterwards she had stayed with themand they had a chat. They had walked for hours with the boys. Though Bátorka had also liked to learn, but he got tired several times and he had a rest. Andráska has also beenthirsting for the knowledge. He had eagerly listened to every word of Éva and he had recorded almost everything he heard.. It came over for me that the 2 boys are very clever andintelligent. They had learnt whatever was necessary for them. It was completely contradicting to the expert’s opinions They liked the lessons,especially the mathematrics. Éva provedto be an excellent teacher. As a private student,isolated from the other children,the teaching was not easy. At that time Bátorka had regular diarrhoea but his weak physique has beencounterbalanced and compensated with his high spirits and charity. According to his papers and documents Andráska was an injured child. It sometimes appeared in his being veryslow,but it was possible to teach him well and he had also learnt well. In the third year I had felt the teaching being a bother to me in addition to the domestic chores and other tasksof mine. Therefore the providence of God had sent a teacher to me Mr Laci bácsi,a young man/a father of 3 children/ he had lived some years in Siberia with his wife asmissionary.He had plenty of experiences and lots of love.. They had played football and other games a lot. I was very happy,that finally we had a man in our family and in our team. He had a much better knowledge of teaching as me. He recognized the needs of the children very soon and he did all his best in order to smuggle joy into the life of the boys. Inspiteof that I was thinking a lot of the very fact that for the boys it would be much better to learn at the school of the congregation among all the other children. At that time itv was 3 yearsthat they attended school on Sundays. Of course under control. The fear of the parents had also started to stop,thereforer I thought that they have their place among.. them. I couldnot understand the fear of people until the day I met a wonderful family. 4 children all of them were healthy. I sat down and began to think what I would do if I should have decidedabout the fate of 4 children or about another life. I had fully entered into the spirit of the role of the parents of the healthy children. I had felt the weight of the responsibility. The moreit started to strike me down,the longer my heart started tzo throb. No! No! No! I do not let my children!!
From that time I did not force the contacts. The love of God had absolved it in the people. Sometimes we immediately want things,but it is worth waiting for the Almighty.Lovingand having much experience God. He is able to change people’s attitude. I left it to the love of God,who said:”Not with power,not with strength,but with my spirit!
I knew that I am little to convince people about the very fact,how much worthy my children are. They should have seen and listened to them in order they couild attend school withother children . .
