Being broken Part 4

This vision I am writing now has greatly contributed to further work of mine.

One day, walking in front of the school I saw a guy walk a beautiful German shepherd dog. I have never seen such an intelligent animal. His eyes sparkled as he looked at me. I thought he will speak like Balaam's donkey in the Bible. (Just to let you know, I have serious phobia from dogs because of a wild pit bull). David, the owner, listened my testimony just out of his good manner, as I learned later.
I invited him to church, but he had zero intention to come. But that “someone up there” was very interested of their fate, because at other times he could not avoid us, we kept on meet on the streets! They lived in the neighboring building. So I visited them. By the skin of his teeth he gave in and came to church.

I felt He was hiding something, and truly it was difficult to take himself to tell me. One day he told me that he was HIV positive. Almost smiled at his face. When I told him what I do, this wall between us fall down right then. Every time he dropped out of church service, I went and visited him. He later told me how he thought of me! Thank God, one day he decided that he enrolls into bible school. And he did finish in theology degree. Just because someone is HIV + still can live a full life, why not? A German Christian girl married to a HIV + boy, and other boy went to mission field. There are some patients who are slowly 20 to 25 years in HIV, but they live, because God keeps them alive. They do not lament, but rather obey. And God bestows them long life.

Since then 17 years have passed, and David is one of my best friends! We are truly brothers. Approximately 20 years, he knows about his illness, still he lives like everything would be perfect. Several times he was at the throat of death. In addition to AIDS, he experienced the sufferings of Kaposi sarcoma, (it is malignant vein tumour.) Yet I never heard him to complain. He taught me how to be honest, without wanting back anything in return. Despite of his poverty, he could receive anyone knocking on his door. He always had a slice of bread and a cup of tea. He called me mother! Esteems. Very grateful, though repeatedly robbed, cheated, abused the trust. However, he I not looking back into the past. Advantages every minute of his life as gift. If I want to complain, I call him up. Worth listening to his advice. He do not teach on you, no explaining, he just loves, just as I am! He prays for us day and night. He has an extremely sensitive heart.

He pays attention to those who are despised, mocked. He understood that many was forgiven for him, so he is able to love much. Just one patient he is, who brings out eternal treasures from the richness of his heart! A great honor to know him and to call him my friend, my brother. He teaches, visits, does spiritual care, advice, shows the way, loyal evangelists. Despite illness often travels to teach in other towns. In the many years he taught my sons unto eternal values.

I hear so many people complain, people who have all. I recommend David's example as the cure. He  got married, just recently. Beautiful, pure-hearted, healthy wife was his present from the Lord for his faithful, steadfast life. Believe it or not, God will protect them because they make His teachings and the person of the Lord Jesus is the center of their life.
Many believe that every infected boy is gay, but this is not the case. Some thought blood transfusion some otherwise got the virus. I met many case. The children I am taking care of, little ones and big ones got infected in other ways. The virus is takes no respect.
In two families I know, one parent and one child was infected. The mothers are in heaven, but the children have grown up and are alive, as healthy people. They take care not to infect others as much as they can. There are great stories which prove that instead of despair it is really worth to cry out to God for a long, rich life of love and grace such as they had.
